Filming

On Sunday we did a full day of filming getting as much done as we could. We managed to do the Alice in Wonderland scene, Emo scene, Charlie and Chocolate Factory Scene, Grease scene and we changed the masquerade ball to some Arabic women praying. Everything went really well, the cast looked great in their costumes and although there was a lot of costume changes everybody kept going for us and stayed patient. The day was a great success.

Second day of filming

The second day of filming was the bathroom scene, we decided to use this in our music video to represent the male gaze theory and also to represent the stereotypes for 2013 .
The filming went fairly well but I had to leave early due to work but Gemma contiued the filming as Jess was in the scene. Looking back on footage there might not be enough so the scene might have to be completely re done to get the right amount of footage. They had to stop filming due to the camera's lense steaming up quite frequently.

Filming Update

We had to change the location for the band scene due to getting all the cast to the place we needed to, however the first day of filming went really well, we did the band scene in one location and all on one evening. We did the scene at Gemma's dad's work place where a house is in the process of being built, we dressed the place up with lights and smoke. Gemma and Jess did all the filming as I ended up being a trumpeteer due to one cast member needing to leave. They filmed from various angles and heights, and the band went up on to the roof so a few shots were taken there.
The cast worked well together and as we had people that could play drums and guitar it look realistic.

Jess also did some filming at her Arabian nights party so there is some footage of that which we can use. But this was used as a back up to fill in any gaps.

Locations for filming

This is where the majority of our filming will take place - Meadow Farm near Middle Rasen. It has a lot of space and rooms which we can move things around and decorate the rooms as we wish.

This is where the Charlie and Chocolate scene will be filmed. This room was chosen because it has bright walls and lighting with plenty of room. We will take all the furniture out so we can decorate it will sweets, chocolate and some bright colours.

This is where the bathroom scene will be filmed. Jess' bathroom is quite big and has a shower above so both can be used. In this scene Lewis will  peer into the room and then when the girls see him they will throw a beach ball at him then chase him out the room. There is plenty of room for the cameras to be in the room and stay away from the water.

We will film the Grease scene in the kitchen. We chose it here because we can make it look like an American diner and there is a lot of room to fit in a table where everyone can sit and move around.

This is where the Mad Hatter's tea party will be filmed. We chose this place in the garden because of how the tree is positioned and the fence where we can wrapped bits of ribbon and colour around to make a magical look. We will put a long thin table in the garden and decorate it with unique crockery.

This room will be used for the masquerade ball scene, it is big enough to have couples moving around and the light looks authentic and aged. Also for the curtains we can make them drooping. We will make the room dark and smoky.
